Willem Hermanus Döman (Hermie) is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public.

Hermie was appointed as a Magistrate on 15 August 1980 by the Minister of Justice, Mr Schlebusch. During 1988 he resigned from the Department of Justice to pursue a career in the private sector.

After completion of the prescribed admission examinations and after completion of the two year practise required by law, he was admitted as an attorney in 1990.

For the next 23 years he was practising as attorney and partner at the firm Schur Marais & Döman in Worcester.

During these years Hermie gained an excellent and specialized knowledge of property law, wills and estates. In 2013 he opened his own practice, namely Döman Attorneys Inc, now Döman & Kogler Attorneys, of which he is a director.

Karel Erich Kogler obtained his BComm LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch.

He joined Döman Attorneys in 2015 after having completed his articles of clerkship and in that same year he was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer. In 2016 he was admitted as Notary Public.

Karel was also subsequently appointed as director and the firm’s name became Döman & Kogler Attorneys.
